Gary L. Gilcrease, MD
Board Certified Family Practice

Gary L. Gilcrease, MD is a third generation native of the Hill Country. Raised in San Marcos, he chose to return to his roots to open his own family practice here in the Buda-Kyle area.

Gary L. Gilcrease, MD holds a Bachelors’ Degrees in both Music and Chemistry from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas. After receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, he completed his Family Practice residency at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gary L. Gilcrease, MD is Board Certified in Family Practice and carries staff privileges at Seton Main, Seton Southwest, Seton Hays, and St. Davids hospitals. He is a current member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Texas Medical Association, and Travis County Medical Society. During his third year of residency, he received additional training in the areas of dermatology and sports medicine.


Yujia (Julia) Huo, PA-C

Board Certified Physician Assistant

Julia (Yujia) Huo, PAC was born in China and moved with her parents to Houston in 2006. After receiving her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at Austin, she worked as a teaching assistant and a research assistant at MD Anderson in Houston. She received her Master’s Degree as a Physician Assistant in 2013 from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and joined our practice in 2014. She is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.




Michele Jackson, FNP-C

Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner

Michele Jackson, FNP-C, started out her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse attained from the College of Eastern Utah in 2002. She went on to obtain her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2007.  In 2013, she completed her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner Tract from the University of Texas Tech Health Science Center Anita Thigpen School of Nursing. Michele is a native Texan and grew up in San Antonio. Both of her parents were natives from Puerto Rico and Michele speaks fluent Spanish.
