Prescription Refills

Established patients with the practice can have their medications refilled by first calling their pharmacy and requesting the pharmacy staff to notify this practice of the requested refill. This call should be placed to your pharmacy approximately three days before your prescriptions run out. The practice, pursuant to state guidelines, does not refill medications for patients who have not been seen by one of our providers within the last 12 months. Some controlled medications pursuant to DPS and TMB regulations require the patient to be seen in the office every 90 days to receive a refill.

Please know that the practice has adopted refill protocols for renewing prescriptions which were developed for the benefit, safety and protection of the patient. In some cases a patient may need to have lab work completed before a refill can be ordered.
